Please be mindful of the ropes and stakes as we try to reduce cart traffic

The ropes and stakes are being used as a way to help redirect cart traffic so we can have more definition in our turf rather than compacted worn down areas.

Especially in wet conditions it's important to stay on the cart paths around the tees and greens to prevent these types of ruts. The last place the water dries is next to the concrete (cart paths).

Traffic Control

Unfortunately often times it is easier to park the golf carts here right next to the  tee box.

Rather than staying on the cart path.

With the use of ropes and sticking to the cart path we will work to re-grow in some of these areas that have become worn down from continuous cart traffic.

These two photos show other examples of the importance of sticking to the cart path so our turf can be at the highest quality possible.

Pond Cleanup

During the winter months we plan on doing some work at the ponds to take them from this look

to a much cleaner edge like shown in this photo.

2012 Bunker Renovations

The bunker renovations will make a huge impact. After it rains, a bunker typically has to be pumped, the remaining silt has to be removed, and the sand pushed up back to specs.

The new Billy Bunker additions will greatly improve drainage and prevent the sand from washing out. The contaminated sand is removed, the drainage is re-done, and a new layer of gravel covers the entire bottom of the bunker.

A clear coat type sealer is applied drying to a like-concrete finish.

New sand is added to USGA specs and the finished product  is ready for play
